International Humanities Experiences

  • International Language Programs (ILP) is a non-profit organization based out of Utah. Their goal is to create study-abroad experiences around the world that allow people to experience more than a classroom. ILP volunteers teach English to children through an immersion duo-lingual methodology. You can learn more here

  • Humanitarian Experiences Program (HXP) is a Utah-based non-profit that allows young adults to help people in impoverished nations by building sustainable infrastructure. HXP’s values are closely aligned with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They have trips all over the world. You can find more information on their website
    • HXP’s CEO, Amy Antonelli, spoke at an SVU Forum in 2025, multiple SVU students have participated as trip leaders, and an SVU alumnus has even worked full-time for HXP
