CABIN LEADER
Cabin Leaders are the relational ministers in our camp programs. Each Cabin Leader works alongside one or more co-leaders and is assigned a group of approximately 16 to 20 campers per session. Cabin Leaders take on three primary roles: A) Spiritual Mentor – guide campers through their daily camp experience, engaging them in a story from scripture and hosting interactive experiences. B) Relational Minister – spend the majority of the day building relationships, showing God’s love, and being intentionally present during playful activities, meals, and unstructured hangout times. C) Big Sibling – be the adult in charge, ensuring campers are on time in the right location, using sunscreen, staying hydrated, attending to needs, etc. Experience volunteering or working with children or youth in a ministry setting is preferred but not required.
