Star Wrld Internship-to-Career Program
10 Hours/Week | Primarily Remote | San Antonio, TX | Undergraduate Students
Star Wrld Organization is looking for ambitious undergraduate students who want more than an internship to put on their résumé.
Our Internship-to-Career Program is designed to provide students with hands-on experience operating and growing a youth sports nonprofit while creating a potential pathway into a full-time career with Star Wrld Organization.
The Opportunity
Interns will work approximately 10 hours per week and gain real-world experience in nonprofit administration, sports management, customer relations, event operations, technology, and organizational growth.
The position is primarily remote during the week, with interns occasionally assisting with Star Wrld Organization sporting events, programs, meetings, and community initiatives throughout the San Antonio area.
Reliable transportation throughout San Antonio is required.
What You’ll Work On
Interns will gain hands-on experience with administrative operations, CRM systems, athlete and parent communication, registration and database management, sporting event operations, community outreach, digital platforms, marketing support, and AI-powered productivity tools.
You won’t simply observe how an organization operates—you’ll have opportunities to contribute to real projects and take ownership of meaningful responsibilities.
Internship-to-Career Pathway
Interns who successfully complete the program and demonstrate exceptional performance, reliability, initiative, professionalism, and alignment with Star Wrld Organization’s mission may be invited to interview for available full-time positions within the organization.
Potential full-time career opportunities may offer annual compensation in the $50,000–$60,000 range, depending on the position, qualifications, organizational needs, and available funding.
Completion of the internship does not guarantee employment, but outstanding interns will receive priority consideration for applicable opportunities as Star Wrld Organization continues to grow.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is organized, dependable, resourceful, comfortable with technology, and excited about working in a fast-growing sports organization.
Experience with CRM platforms, spreadsheets, digital communication tools, social media, event operations, or AI tools is a plus—but a willingness to learn is even more important.
If you’re interested in sports, nonprofit leadership, entrepreneurship, youth development, or building organizations from the ground up, this internship provides an opportunity to gain experience across all of them.
