The Animal Caretaker is responsible to participate in the care of all animals used in Sight & Sound performances and farm work related to their care.
Responsibilities include:
- Understand and model our mission, values and safety statements.
- Assist in maintaining an orderly and clean work environment to include all animal living, training, and turn out areas.
- Assist in the basic care and feeding of all Sight & Sound show animals.
- Willingness to step into training and handling duties as needed.
- Follow the regulatory requirements for animal care.
- Support the company and department strategic plan.
- Be available for weekend and/or holiday caretaking assignments as needed.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with a broad spectrum of animal species.
- High concern for the welfare of animals.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
