Position Overview
The Department of Social and Cultural Sciences is hiring adjunct instructors to teach courses in Anthropology, specifically:
ANTH 1201. Introduction to Biological Anthropology MWF @ 12-12:50
ANTH 2401. Archaeology and Prehistoric Cultures MWF @ 1-1:50
Positions will begin in August 2025.
The Department of Social and Cultural Sciences offers undergraduate majors in Anthropology, Criminology & Law Studies, Sociology, and Social Welfare & Justice and has a graduate program in Criminal Justice Data Analytics. Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate(s) will have full responsibility for the courses and sections they teach, including course and syllabus preparation, grading exams and other assignments. Must maintain a minimum of 3 office hours a week.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Anthropology. Demonstrated excellence in teaching.
