POSITION RESPONSIBILITES

Your detailed missions will be discussed during your interview with your supervisor.

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Research Intern to join our team. As a Research Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to innovative projects that aim to improve health and wellbeing. This internship provides hands-on experience in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, allowing you to work with leading researchers and experts in the field.

Possible Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with researchers and project teams on ongoing initiatives focused on health and movement innovations.
  • Conduct literature reviews and assist in data collection and analysis.
  • Contribute to the development of research protocols and experimental designs.
  • Work closely with mentors to gain insights into the research process and methodologies.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and publications.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in [Relevant Field: e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Health Sciences, Human Kinetics, etc.].
  • Strong interest in health and wellbeing, with a focus on innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of research methodologies and data analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

We are dedicated to improving health and wellbeing through innovations that help people move. We offer world-class research and design capability through state-of the-art indoor and outdoor laboratories, and access to a wide range of academic expertise.

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS:
On-site Supervision and Support
Our internships include 24/7 on-site staff to support students working and living abroad. All students will also report to a supervisor at their internship site. Supervisors provide and oversee daily tasks, introduce the intern to team members, and mentor the intern in organizational agility, skill acquisition, and career readiness. Interns complete a midpoint and final evaluation, and supervisors complete a final evaluation of their interns. All work responsibilities and projects are approved in advance.

Academic Credit
Students on an internship have the opportunity to enroll in their home university for credit, or enroll in a course through API to transfer back to their university for credit. Email support-internships@apiexperience.com for more information and a syllabus.

Housing and Excursions
Housing and excursions are included in your internship and will be selectable during the application process.

This position does not offer visa sponsorship for non-US citizens

Visa Sponsorship (London, Edinburgh, Sydney only)
