Selected interns will work on research and programming centered on advocacy for minorities, LGTB+ community engagement, and inclusion

About the Organization:

Our foundation was born on June 6, 2011, thanks to the work of the writer Pablo Simonetti, the engineer Luis Larraín and the lawyer Antonio Bascuñán, who met with the idea of creating an institution that would work towards equal rights and non-compliance. discrimination of sexual diversity. For more than 10 years we have influenced relevant legislative advances for sexual and gender diversity such as the Anti-Discrimination Law, Civil Union Agreement, Gender Identity Law, reform of the Adoption Law, Equal Marriage and General Education Law. Fundación Iguales, in search of achieving the full inclusion of sexual diversity in Chilean society, has developed different research to influence public policies, as well as to account for the reality that LGBTIQA+ people experience in Chile.
